Learn about how to avoid injury while staying in care-free vacation mode down the shore.

Vacation mode. That's a feeling that excites everyone. "Summer Fridays" are in rotation. The big heat waves might be behind us. The ocean temperature has risen above 70 degrees.

Pool parties and BBQs are frequent, and time outdoors replaces that time spent staring at a television or phone screen. Trips to the beach seem to have a permanent place in the schedule.

This mode is a transformation of sorts, often morphing people from Northeastern high strung, detail-orientated individuals to flip-flop wearing and care-free.
